How is AthenaLMS different from a generic LMS?
A generic LMS manages courses. AthenaLMS manages competence. Because it shares the Athena data model, it knows the org chart, the licences people hold, the QHSE incidents they are involved in, and the job that requires a given certification — so it can tell you who is actually qualified, not just who attended a course.
Can it be bought standalone?
Yes. Like every module in the suite, AthenaLMS is independently installable and licensed. The integration benefits grow when it runs alongside Athena ERP and QHSE.
Does it support our existing content?
Yes. SCORM and xAPI packages import directly, so your existing course library carries over.
