About Athena Agentic AI specifically.

What does “Sovereign” mean for an AI platform?

Your models, your data, your hardware, your rules. Athena can be deployed entirely inside your own data centre or private sovereign cloud, and run with no outbound network calls. Nothing about your data has to leave the perimeter — which is the point, in defence and regulated environments.

Do we need a public cloud or an API key?

No. Athena's agent runtime is self-hosted. If you do choose to call an external model, that is a configuration decision you control, not a dependency of the product.

How do we keep agents from doing the wrong thing?

Agents operate under role-scoped tool permissions, every action is written to an immutable audit trail, and workflows support explicit human-in-the-loop approval gates. You decide which decisions an agent may take alone and which must be ratified.
